I graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a license to teach art for K-12 students.  I also received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a concentration in drawing.  While at UT, I studied art education, art history, drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, printmaking, and fiber arts.  

I am excited to be teaching my 4th year at Linden Elementary!  However, it is my 17th year teaching art altogether.  I started and maintained two art programs in Anderson County for Norris and Andersonville Elementary schools for 12 years.  I also interned at William Blount High School and Lake City Elementary for 1 year.
